Our Call for Support.

Our commitment to sustaining social responsibility is deeply rooted in our agency values: collaboration, compassion, diversity, and racial equity, growth, integrity, and mental health advocacy. These values guide us in remaining transparent and honest to our stakeholders, including our shareholders,  employees,  clients, community organizations, and colleges/ universities with whom we partner. This means sharing our successes while being honest about our challenges and holding ourselves accountable for our actions and mistakes.

Highlights:

  • Since launching our Mental Health Hub in January 2024, our therapists have donated over 375 hours of pro bono services to serve young adults and college students who are underinsured or uninsured.
  • In 2023, we partnered with the National Hope Check program. Within nine months of serving 100+ clients, 83% of clients who participated in our feedback survey reported that The Healing Project of MN's Hope Check program supported their mental health throughout their time in the program.
  • Through our partnership with Augsburg University and St. Catherine University, social work interns donated 1,300+ hours through our clinical training program.

Challenges:

  • We are not a 501c3 non-profit, so we are not eligible for many grant opportunities. We operate on in-kind donations and seed money. Becoming credentialed with insurance companies is a lengthy and time-consuming process that often takes 6-12 months.

Our Ask: Please consider making a one-time financial contribution to help us meet the needs of our community.

Our Healing Minds Initiative is dedicated to preventing and reducing suicidal and self-harm behaviors, mitigating the impact of trauma and toxic stress, and promoting mental well-being among teens and young adults.

Many state and private health insurance plans do not cover the cost of this essential mental health program. A one-time contribution of $28.44 can directly support an uninsured or underinsured young adult’s participation for three months, providing them with vital mental health resources.

While our agency is not a nonprofit, and donations are not tax-deductible, your support makes a meaningful impact. Every contribution helps save lives, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity. EIN: 92-1718363
