Our Call for Support.

At The Healing Project of MN, our work is guided by core values: collaboration, compassion, diversity and racial equity, growth, integrity, and mental health advocacy.

We believe in transparency with our clients, community, funders, and educational partners. That means celebrating what’s working while being honest about what still needs support.

🔹 Our Impact

  • Since launching our Mental Health Hub in January 2024, our therapists have donated over 1,000 hours of pro bono therapy to serve young adults and college students who are underinsured or uninsured.

  • Through partnerships with Augsburg University and St. Catherine University, our social work interns have contributed more than 1,300 hours to our clinical training program.

  • In 2023, we partnered with the National Hope Check program. Within just nine months of serving over 100 clients, 83% of participants reported that the program supported their mental health.

  • When the Hope Check program was dismantled nationwide, we responded by creating our own solution: the Healing Minds Initiative—a trauma-informed, prevention-focused program that offers consistent, accessible support for young people navigating anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.

⚠️ The Challenge

We are not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so we are ineligible for many public and private grant opportunities. We rely on in-kind donations, seed funding, and small contributions from supporters like you.

We’re actively pursuing insurance credentialing, but this process can take 6–12 months per provider. In the meantime, the demand for low-cost therapy continues to grow.

💚 How You Can Help

Please consider making a one-time contribution to help us meet the needs of our community. Your support will:

Our Healing Minds Initiative is dedicated to preventing and reducing suicidal and self-harm behaviors, mitigating the impact of trauma and toxic stress, and promoting mental well-being among teens and young adults.  A one-time contribution of $28.44 can directly support an uninsured or underinsured young adult’s participation for three months, providing them with vital mental health resources.

Many state and private health insurance plans do not cover the cost of this essential mental health program. A one-time contribution of $28.44 can directly support an uninsured or underinsured young adult’s participation for three months, providing them with vital mental health resources.

While our agency is not a nonprofit, and donations are not tax-deductible, your support makes a meaningful impact. Every contribution helps save lives, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity. EIN: 92-1718363
