Our Community Wellness Hub is dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of our community through the Healing Minds Initiative. We address challenges like suicidal thoughts, self-harm behaviors, trauma, and the toll of everyday stress while focusing on building resilience and increasing your mental health baseline.

As part of the Healing Minds Initiative, we provide personalized, accessible mental health support through several unique services:

Automated Check-ins: Every Sunday and Wednesday, you’ll receive automated check-ins where you can rate your mood on a 0-10 scale. These check-ins remind you that support is always available and will share immediate resources to meet your needs.
Weekly Personal Check-ins: Each client also receives a personal weekly check-in via text, phone call, or scheduled appointment—whatever feels most comfortable for you.
At The Healing Project of MN, we believe in a team-based approach to care. While you have a primary contact person, our entire team is here to support you—not just one therapist or social worker. Clients benefit from wraparound support, meaning you can access our whole team of licensed therapists, case managers, and social work interns, who work together to ensure your holistic needs are met.

Resource Navigation Assistance

In addition to mental health therapy, we offer Resource Navigation Assistance through the Healing Minds Initiative to help clients access essential services and support. Our Care Coordinators are available to guide you in navigating a variety of resources, such as:

Mental Health Services: We connect clients with therapy services, insurance navigation, and other mental health support programs.
Housing Assistance: Support in finding and applying for emergency or long-term housing options.
Food Security: Assistance with food stamps (SNAP), food banks, and emergency food services.
Financial Assistance: Help with applying for financial aid, including emergency assistance and Medicaid.
Period Kits: Providing a one-month supply of period kits to those in need.

Our goal is to ensure that you have access to all the resources necessary to promote holistic healing. We are here to assist you every step of the way, removing barriers so you can focus on what matters most—your well-being.

Eligibility & Cost:
✔ Location: Must reside in Minnesota
✔ Age Requirement: 16+
✔ Cost: $2.37 per week
✔ Payment Options: Insurance, FSA/HSA, Private Pay, Sliding Scale

Important Notes:

A mental health diagnosis is not required to participate, but it is required if you’d like us to bill your insurance.
If you see a therapist outside our agency, we’ll ask you to sign an ROI to access your records.
If you haven’t completed a Diagnostic Assessment (DA) in the past three years, your first step is meeting with one of our therapists—this is often covered by insurance.
Insurance coverage varies. Check with your provider (CPT Code 96146), or contact us, and we’ll check for you.
If insurance doesn’t cover the program or you prefer to self-pay, we can bill you directly.
