The Healing Project of MN is a trauma-informed mental health agency serving children, teens, adults, and families through individual therapy, psychoeducation, and community-based programming. We are committed to providing equitable care, culturally responsive services, and fostering community connections. Over half of our team is BIPOC and/or bilingual, ensuring we meet the needs of diverse populations. Our services are designed to support individuals facing racial trauma, gender inequities, immigration-related stress, and other forms of systemic oppression. We believe in the therapeutic power of healing, rooted in social justice and cultural humility, and committed to empowering our clients to thrive in a world that often marginalizes them.

TF-CBT is an evidence-based, short-term therapy model (typically 12–20 sessions) that helps children, adolescents, and young adults process traumatic experiences, build healthy coping skills, and reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. This structured approach also supports caregivers, strengthening parent-child communication and enhancing family healing in a safe and supportive environment.

As part of our commitment to accessible mental health care, The Healing Project of MN offers Teen Talk, a low-cost therapy option for youth ages 16 and 17.

Our Healing Minds program works to prevent and reduce suicidal behavior, mitigate the effects of trauma and toxic stress, and promote mental health among teens and adults. Twice a week, teens and adults receive text check-ins about their mental health. Based on their responses, we provide individualized resources or coping strategies.
